Hello, my name is Artyom (Tom) Keller. I am beyond excited to contribute this team. I would consider myself a global citizen, I was born in USSR, lived in South Africa, and enjoyed a rollercoaster childhood in New York City. My life since then has brought me all over the country and globe. I have always been fascinated in learning about the experience of human struggle and diversity of our flavors of life. Since living in California, I have worked in rehabs, behavioral healthcare and supported nonprofit initiatives to serve men and women struggling with alcoholism and addiction.
I have experience in the nonprofit sector and international mission-based NGO’s which I hope to couple with my years of work in behavioral healthcare and alcoholism treatment to serve populations without access to quality care and bridge gaps between faith and mental health care. My faith has become the guiding force of my life, and I have responded to a clear calling to missional work to share Jesus’ love globally. Forging a union between quality behavioral healthcare and the Power of Jesus’ Love to transform broken lives, identities, and communities has become a clear impact my unique experience can benefit. I have personally been involved in recovery since I was 15 years old, and I am involved with a variety of 12 Step. My personal journey has pushed me to serve others. I spend much of my time in sponsorship, mentorship, and discipleship with men in recovery and faith.
Outside of my professional life I enjoy to travel, read, pray, write, and photograph. Life is the grandest adventure of all. I try to follow God’s guidance to the far reaches of the world to capture wonder and awe to share it with others. I seek to push boundaries and find beauty in uncommon places.
