Joanna Schaus

I work as a humanitarian photographer and storyteller based
out of Minnesota. For the fundamental years of my life, I grew up in
Afghanistan and Turkey documenting the people I came in contact with and
sharing stories of culture and dignity. I’ve worked with various nonprofits
such as World Relief and IAFR Refugees using my photography as a way to
share stories and uplift the people they help to resettle. I’m interested in
becoming a member of the Resource Team because I have a high value for using
my art to assist nonprofits and the people they reach. Additionally, growing
up with a family of clinical professionals in a risk environment, I’ve
learned the value of providing support for people who need professionals to
help meet their needs.

I love working with nonprofits and
helping them tell stories visually that connect with donors and help to
define the work they do. My services – photography, videography, and social
media marketing.
